This track is crazy, produced by The Vibe Chemist. 8 mintues of heat!!! The way Lord Have Mercy raps has always been awful to me, but everyone else is nice on here. Jamal rips it for around two minutes. Keith, Red, and Rampage all come correct too. Busta is ridiculous on here though. It's a shame he hasn't made a classic album yet, he's always been good for 4-5 bangers per album though. Over the right beats, he could have made a classic around 95-98 when he was in his prime.

Might as well stick with these new releases that are coming out during the next month. As I'm sure you all know, the new Wu-Tang Clan album, 8 Diagrams, leaked this week. Now as bad as I didn't want to download the album and wanted to wait until I bought it to hear it, I found that to be impossible. There is no way I would have been able to wait three weeks for the album to be released in stores, so I basically have listened to the album for three days straight. Personally, I am very impressed with how the album came out. With all the complaining from Ghost and Rae, I got a little worried. However, I knew RZA would come through with some amazing material. Now unlike some people, I wasn't expecting a early-mid 90's Wu-Tang album. With the passing of Ason Unique, it would have been impossible for the group to create something 36 Chambers-esque. Also, Ghostface hardly participated in the making of this album. He only appears on four tracks and one of them he is only heard on the chorus. However, this only had a minor effect on the outcome of the album. If anything, I feel that the absence on P. Tone resulted in numerous unsung members shining. U-God and Masta Killa came both thrived on the album with multiple ferocious verses. U-God completely shreds "Get Out the Way 'Pa," "Wolves," and "Tar Pit." Raekwon and Method Man also put in a noticeable amount of work for the album. Each of them appear on more than half of the total tracks and neither of them slip for even a second. While Rae is back on his Gambino style, which has me hype as ever for OB4CLII, Mef maintains the swagger he had from the Tical years. GZA also sounds as hungry as ever and drops one of my favorite verses on the album on "Stick Me for My Riches." RZA's solo track, "Sunlight," is another memorable moment on the album. I was also very impressed with his production on the album from start to finish. Deck was the only member other than Ghost that didn't impress me too much. Cappadonna and Streetlife each drops a few worthy verses also as the only two guest rappers.

The album does feature more singing than what would be expected from a Wu-Tang album. The songs "My Heart Gently Weeps," "Gun Will Go," "Stick Me For My Riches," and "Starter" all contain singing during the chorus. I am only bothered by the singing on "Starter," which to me basically ruins the song.

Although this is likely the final Clan album, I do have high hopes for RZA production on future solo projects. GZA is scheduled to release a new album early next year, which with RZA on the boards could result in another Wu classic. Also, OB4CLII is due out next summer, and Rae really showed that he is capable of making another classic. Meth will likely return with another solo next year as well. What I am really hoping for is a U-God solo with a majority of the production done by RZA. U-God has always appeared to be the most underappreciated member of the group in my opinion. While I have always considered Golden Arms Redemption to be a near classic, he seems like he could be very capable of creating a classic now.

Go buy the album when it comes out on December 11th, SUPPORT REAL HIP-HOP!!!!!

I been into these guys since their second album, Southernunderground. It is also reasonable to argue that A Piece of Strange is a modern day classic. Anyways, the groups new album Dirty Acres is going to be released on November 27 (tomorrow). The album is insane!!! Kno's production is on point as expected. The surprise to me is how much the group has matured lyrically. I still find Deacon's rap style annoying at times, but lyrically he has improved greatly. Guest spots from Devin, Phonte, and Witchdoctor are necessary and the Intro with Big Rube has me reminiscing on the old Dungeon Family albums.

When Sai punched Prodigy (aka the rapper who has been sonned by every other rapper) he had no reason to stay, he was highly outnumbered, so he got a couple punches in and dipped. So in the interview Sai is all drunk or whatever and says somethin about how he will beat up any rapper, and then the radio host says "and then run." She says it really low, I hardly even noticed the first time I listened to it, but the instance she says it Sai starts abusin' her. Really, this shit too funny. Buy Moral of the Story, I am.

-Megalon of the Monsta Island Czars, a group which also included MF Doom, MF Grimm, X-Ray, Kamackeris (aka Kwite Def), Rodan, and others. This is from his album, A Penny For Your Thoughts. X-Ray did the beat, it's pretty nice. Megalon's flow was crazy to me, he has killed so many tracks it's ridiculous. He was incarcerated for a while but he was recently released, I'm unsure whether he is still rapping or not, but I did hear him on an MF Grimm tracks a few months ago. I first heard him on Operation: Doomsday, then on Escape From Monster Island! He outshined everyone on that album in my opinion so I copped his solo album, if you can find it anywhere I reccommend you do the same!

-Ok, Shabazz is one of the illest emcees ever. His flow is crazy and he is almost always on point lyrically. This was a classic from the moment it came out, the storyline is dope as fuck and the beat is crazy. I actually remember Guru killin this beat on Tony Touch's 50 MC's compilation. Anyways, Shabazz was part of the Wu-Tang affilated group Sunz of Man. He dropped a classic verse on the Gravediggaz single, "Diary of a Madman." You definitely need to check this one out!

-This one was from the early Sunz of Man days, probably 96-98 when this one came out. I had actually only had a really bad quality version of this until just recently. The highlight for me on this is 60 Second Assassin. Although his style can sometimes go a little over the top, he is amazing on this. Prodigal Sunn and Hell Razah also drop nice verses on this, and 4th Disciple did the beat. Razah dropped two very good albums this year and Priest dropped a great one, hopefully 60, P. Sunn, and Shabazz drop something soon, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up. Peep the track though!
